This policy explains in plain language what information may be handled when the Checkinger website and SaaS service are used. The hotel’s own notices remain relevant where it determines the purposes of guest-data processing.
Scope
This policy covers marketing pages, pricing, contact channels and use of the Checkinger service by property operators. For a guest’s stay data, the hotel’s own notices and the KVKK document should also be considered.
Information we may handle
A contact request may include a name, email, telephone number and message. Service use may include account, reservation, authorisation and security information. The website may receive device, browser and preference information. We aim to avoid unnecessary collection.
How information is used
Information may be used to answer requests, run demos and onboarding, operate accounts, protect security, understand service performance, comply with law and send communications where permitted.
Providers and sharing
Checkinger may use hosting, database, email, security and observability providers to deliver the service. They should process information only for defined service purposes under appropriate contractual safeguards. Personal data is not sold for marketing.
Retention and control
Information is retained while needed for its purpose and while legal duties apply. Access and correction requests can be made through the contact channels or the KVKK application channel.
Changes to this policy
The policy may change when the service, law or processing methods change. Material changes should be communicated through an appropriate notice and the current date should remain visible.
